Do you have an eye for capturing the beauty, energy, and spirit of ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork? Whether it’s the iconic Quad, bustling student life, or hidden gems around campus, we want to see your best shots! Submit your photos for a chance to win great prizes and have your work showcased to the UCC community.

Prizes

1st Prize: â‚¬250 O'Leary Camera World gift card + feature on UCC’s website & social media
2nd Prize: â‚¬100 O'Leary Camera World gift card gift card
3rd Prize: â‚¬50 O'Leary Camera World gift card gift card

All winning photos will be displayed in an online gallery and may feature in future UCC promotional materials (with credit)

Competition Rules

• Theme: Photos must feature UCC — this can include campus buildings, landscapes, student life, events, or unique perspectives.

• Original Work: Your submission must be your own original photograph.

• Photo Quality: Images must be high-resolution (minimum 3000px on the longest side).

• Editing: Light editing (cropping, colour correction) is allowed, but no heavy filters or AI-generated imagery.

• Permissions: If people are recognisable in your photo, you must have their permission to submit it.

• Ownership & Use: By entering, you agree that UCC may use your photo for promotional purposes (credit will be given).

• Deadline: All submissions must be received by Friday, 21 November 2025, 5:00pm (GMT).

• Eligibility: Open to all UCC students, staff, and alumni.
  
  

How to Submit Your Photo

• Save your photo in JPEG or PNG format.
• Name your file using the format: FirstName_LastName_PhotoTitle.
• Email your entry to alumni@ucc.ie with the subject line UCC Photo Competition 2025.
• In the body of the email, include:

  • Your full name

  • Student/staff/alumni status

  • Contact details

  • A short description of your photo (max 50 words)
