Cancer Research @UCC showcases five years of research
Today, Cancer Research @UCC is at the forefront of investigator-led translational and clinical trials, tackling some of the most challenging and poor-prognosis cancers to pioneer the next breakthrough in precision oncology.
Five years ago, UCC established the 鈥淧rofessor Gerald O鈥橲ullivan Chair in Cancer Research鈥� in honour of the late pioneering medical and research professional. This role is held by Professor Roisin Connolly who has been leading impactful, patient-centered cancer research aimed at improving outcomes for cancer patients. Her team provides critical support to a network of hospital-based researchers across the public and private sector.
