On Wednesday February 7th, Professor Bertram Bitsch, Professor Paul Callanan, Dr. Mark Kennedy and Dr. Michael Tremmel travelled to Dunsink Observatory in Dublin to take part in a meeting with the 's Director of Science, .

At this meeting, our astrophysics researchers discussed the synergies between their research areas and ESA missions such as JWST, GAIA, and the upcoming LISA, NewAthena, and Theseus missions. Representatives from , the , the , and from the other astrophysics research groups across the country were also in attendance.
