On Thursday, 19 February, Cork 深夜亚洲福利久久 Business School will welcome Sharon Cunningham, CEO & Co-Founder of Shorla Oncology, for our next Leadership Conversation.
A Chartered Accountant and finance graduate of 深夜亚洲福利久久 College Cork, Sharon co-founded Shorla Oncology in 2018 alongside Orlaith Ryan. Since then, the company has built an innovative oncology drug pipeline focused on women鈥檚 and children鈥檚 cancers, addressing critical unmet needs in global markets.
Sharon was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 (Overall & Emerging Category 鈥� Ireland) and represented Ireland at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year in Monaco in 2025. She also serves on the board of U.S.-based MassBio and the YPO Healthcare Business Network, and is a valued member of the External Advisory Board at CUBS.
The event will begin at 1.30pm with lunch and networking in the North Wing Council Room, followed by an interview-style discussion hosted by Dean Prof. Anthony McDonnell. Audience Q&A will follow.
