Funded PhD opportunity
Research Ireland PhD scholarship 鈥 RCSI are advertising a fully funded, four鈥憏ear PhD due to start in September entitled 鈥Empowering Voices, Enhancing Outcomes: Co鈥慶reating an Open鈥慡ource Health鈥慐conomic Model for Alzheimer鈥檚 Disease and Dementia in Ireland鈥.
This Research Ireland scholarship will offer a 鈧25k annual stipend, full fee coverage, and a budget for training, conferences, consumables and international placements.
The PhD would suit a quantitatively minded researcher (health economics, statistics, public health, or another health-related discipline) who wants to work with people living with dementia and carers to build a model that will shape national policy. The primary supervisor on this project is Dr Jonathan Briody (RCSI) and it will be co-supervised by Dr Emma O Shea, Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation (UCC).
