Dr M谩ir铆n MacCarron elected to Royal Historical Society

Dr M谩ir铆n MacCarron has recently been elected a Fellow of the in recognition of her contribution to historical scholarship. The Royal Historical Society is committed to championing the interests of the historical profession and the place of history within society and culture. They have a worldwide membership who are engaged in researching, presenting and publishing history.

M谩ir铆n is Lecturer in Digital Humanities at UCC, having previously held posts in the Departments of History at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Sheffield and NUI Galway. She is a graduate of UCC and was NUI Dr Garret FitzGerald postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities at NUIG. Her most recent publication is Bede and Time: Computus, Theology and History in the Early Medieval World (Routledge: London and New York 2020), and she is Co-Investigator of the Leverhulme Trust-funded project, based at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Sheffield.
