BDS Class 2004 Reunion
On 30 August the BDS Class of 2004 rolled back the years and returned to the Dental School and Hospital for their ten year reunion.
The reunion kicked off with presentations from Jennifer Kearney on 鈥淧eriodontal Surgery鈥�, Mark Wilson on 鈥淭he Patient鈥檚 Journey鈥� Frank Burke on 鈥淐hanging Paradigms in Dental Education鈥� in the familiar haunt of the Dental Hospital Lecture Theatre.
A wine reception was then combined with a tour of the hospital. The highlight of the day was the ice-bucket challenge for which there were which seven 鈥渨illing鈥� participants. All males who were obviously unconcerned with running their appearance! The evening was rounded off with a class photo, dinner, wine and dancing at the Maryborough House Hotel. Generous sponsorship was received form Henry Schein, Bank of Ireland and Kin Dental. All credit to Aidan Burke & Triona Fahey for organising a great event!
