Successful SCoTENS Seed Funding for EYCS Placement Enhancement Project

We are pleased to announce that the Early Years and Childhood Studies Programme at UCC have been awarded 拢5470 Seed Funding from SCoTENS, to support a Placement Enhancement Project. The project, 鈥淎 Community of Practice for Placement Enhancement in the Early Years [CoPPEEY]", led by the Placement Team, aims to facilitate reflection and dialogue between the North and South HEI institutions exploring the commonalities and differences, in professional practice placement, across borders.

A lead cross border Community of Practice [CoP] will be established between UCC and Stranmillis bringing together, college staff, students and representatives from practice placements, creating a shared space to gain a greater understanding of each other鈥檚 policies and practices from a North and South perspective.
