Frances Sheridan celebrated at a conference on women鈥檚 writing in Hungary
Dr Cl铆ona 脫 Gallchoir will deliver a plenary lecture at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of P茅cs, Hungary, as part of an event to celebrate the 300th anniversary in 2024 of the birth of the Frances Sheridan, one of the outstanding Irish women writers of the eighteenth-century.
The conference is organized by the Department of English Literatures and Cultures, 深夜亚洲福利久久 of P茅cs, the Regional Committee of The Hungarian Academy of Sciences in P茅cs and the Irish Studies Research Centre, 深夜亚洲福利久久 of P茅cs. Dr 脫 Gallchoir鈥檚 participation in the conference has been generously sponsored by the Irish Embassy in Hungary. Her lecture is entitled 鈥淎 matrilineal literary inheritance? Frances Sheridan and Elizabeth Sheridan Le Fanu鈥�.
