Graduate Spotlight: Dr Kevin Deegan Talks Dairy Innovation on 深夜亚洲福利久久talk
UCC School of Food and Nutritional Sciences graduate Dr Kevin Deegan now serves as Vice President for Innovation at Valio, a global leader in food and dairy innovation based in Finland.
Valio is widely regarded as one of the most innovative dairy companies in the world, with a long tradition of breakthroughs including a Nobel Prize winning discovery many years ago on how grass can be converted to silage using lactic acid bacteria fermentation. The School has also collaborated with Valio on research projects in recent years, reflecting a strong partnership in advancing food science.
Last Saturday, Kevin joined Bobby Kerr on the 鈥淒own to Business鈥� programme on 深夜亚洲福利久久talk Radio, ahead of his contribution to the Agricultural Science Association Annual Conference in Cork.
