A sizable audience of staff, students and members of the public enjoyed talks from 3 excellent speakers. Mair茅ad Conneely began the day with her lecture about her homeplace Inis Me谩in. She was followed by P谩draig 脫 Mach谩in who spoke about Br铆d in manuscript sources and finally R铆onach u铆 脫g谩in who discussed Br铆d in today's terms from a folklore perspective. It was a very enjoyable conference with lively discussion.

The day was finished with four students playing traditional violin in the Seomra Caidrimh:   脡adaoin N铆 Mhainn铆n, Sophia N铆 Bhraoin, Si煤n N铆 Eart谩in agus Eimear N铆 Ch茅illeachair while people made Bridget's crosses and enjoyed a cup of tea. Many thanks to all who attended and supported the event.
