In this paper, Jo D鈥橝mbrosio Wolf, the current Gerard T. Wrixon Postdoctoral Fellow, discusses colour terminology in medieval Irish medical writings. The paper analyses the curious use of buide (鈥榶ellow'), the medieval Irish form of modern Irish 产耻铆 (鈥榶ellow鈥�), in the pathology of plague.
