New Self Service Password Reset Tool

IT Services is pleased to announce our new self-service password reset tool (SSPR) that will enable you to reset your @ucc.ie password anytime, anywhere and from any device.

Your UCC account is used for a variety of UCC services including Office 365, Eduroam, managed print etc.

Self-service password reset (SSPR) allows you to:

• Change your existing password
• Reset a forgotten or an expired password
• Unlock your account

Staff who have already completed MFA setup can use the tool immediately – no further registration is required. 

The verification method that you use for MFA is the same for SSPR. 

For further information on this new service, please go to and follow the steps as outlined below:

1. Go to passwordreset.ucc.ie  
2. Select the Password Reset icon
3. From Microsoft page the opens select Reset my Password
4. In the User ID Field enter your UCC email address
5. Select I forgot my Password
6. Select your current MFA verification method
7. Enter your registered MRA phone number
   • You will receive a phone call/text to verify
8. Type your new password and confirm
