脕ine Ryall participates at Information Law 2018 Conference
On 27 March 2018, Dr 脕ine Ryall presented a paper at #InfoLaw2018. Organised by FP Logue Solicitors, the conference examined the most recent developments in information law, policy and practice.
脕ine Ryall spoke on the theme 鈥楶romoting Compliance with Environmental Information Obligations: the Interplay between Law and Policy鈥�. Her paper examined critically the transposition and implementation in Ireland of Directive 2003/4/EC on public access to information on the environment. It also explored mechanisms to support and promote the implementation of environmental information rights by public authorities and the role of the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee in overseeing how States meet their international law obligations under the Convention.
