School of Microbiology Annual Research Day 2025
Subterranean Boole 4 set the scene for the School of Microbiology鈥檚 Annual Research day organised by Dr Pauline Scanlan. This is one of the highlights of the school鈥檚 calendar with 19 postgraduate students presenting their work this year.
The session also featured a careers talk by Carol O鈥橠wyer, HR Research Advisor, offering guidance to postgraduate students through the Odyssey Programme and Training Opportunities for Researchers at UCC.
Research excellence was most evident from the calibre of presentations and the engaging discussions that ensued when students responded to questions from the floor.
This event was supported by the School鈥檚 Graduate Studies Committee in partnership with the Postgraduate Committee and The Micro.SCRUM Research Forum.
