Pharmaceutical Formulation Cluster
The cluster's focus is the application of innovative research to advance the key stages of pharmaceutical formulation development; preformulation, formulation design, characterisation, manufacture and patient evaluation. Current project areas include the design of formulations for enhanced oral bioavailability, dermal and microneedle mediated drug delivery and protein/pepide delivery. Research is underpinned by the application of modelling and advanced analytical approaches.
