Best Presentation and Poster Award at GP2A Conference.

ABCRF & Dept of Chemistry student wins prize at international conference.

Congratulations to Michael Cahill on being awarded the prize for Best Presentation and Poster at the recent Groupement des Pharmacochimistes de l鈥橝rc Atlantique (GP2A) conference held at Rouen, France from September 1^st -2^nd . Michael gave a presentation entitled 鈥淪ynthetic Studies towards Novel Azaindolocarbazoles鈥� and focussed on the discovery of a new potential anti-cancer agent active against the topoisomerase II enzyme. Michael is currently pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Florence McCarthy in the Department of Chemistry and ABCRF.
