Student Placement Policy
At UCC, a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses have a student placement element which involves the placement of a UCC registered student with a third party for a period of time during their course of study which forms part of the accreditation award to the Student. Student placements give students the opportunity to gain practical work and/or an independent learning experience relevant to their course as part of a work/project based placement or educational placement.
The following Policy and Procedures set out the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã's minimum standards for the organisation and management of these Student Placements. Please note the Student Placement Policy and Procedures are being gradually implemented in the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã and will be fully applicable in September 2019.
