Dr. Downer鈥檚 research featured in MS Ireland鈥檚 national newletter.

The research conducted by Dr. Eric Downer, Dept. Anatomy and Neuroscience, has been featured in MS Ireland鈥檚 newsletter. Dr. Downer has teamed up with Consultant Neurologist Dr. Orna O鈥橳oole at the Mercy 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital, to profile the inflammatory status of immune cells in newly diagnosed patients. His research team continue to unravel the therapeutic potential of cannabinoid compounds in the disease, and this research angle is the focus of the MS Ireland piece.

Dr. Downer also delivered a talk on the therapeutic role of cannabinoids at a one day conference to mark World MS Day. This is also featured in the newsletter.
