Andreas Zahn received his diploma degree in physics at the Technical 深夜亚洲福利久久 Darmstadt (Germany) in 1990 and his Ph.D. at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Heidelberg in 1995. After postdoc positions at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Heidelberg and the Max-Planck-Institute for Chemistry (Mainz), he moved to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2001 to lead the research group 鈥渋n-situ measurements onboard aircraft鈥 at the Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research (IMK). Since 2015 he coordinates the European research infrastructure IAGOS-CARIBIC, where a high-tech laboratory equipped with ~20 instruments for >100 atmospheric trace species is operated on board a passenger aircraft (Airbus A350) by Lufthansa airlines.
