The Science Squad
BEES postgraduate researcher Fergus McAuliffe will appear in a number of episodes of RTE's science series Science Squad, which returns this week.
Fresh from his Famelab win and being crowned a World champion science communicator, Fergus will present some of the more unusual and unlikely stories from the wonderful world of science: from his award-winning wood frog talk to his own research on willow trees.
, now in its second series, returns on Friday 6th September at 7.30pm on RTE1. Fergus will feature in episodes 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7.
Seperately, Fergus will also give a TED talk on science communication at the upcoming conference which takes place on 14th September in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Other notable speakers at the event include Constantin Gurdgiev and Robin Ince.
