Culture night another success

For the second year running, the School of BEES hosted a Culture Night event to wide approval from the general public.

On Friday 19th of September, the School of BEES, once again, threw open its doors to welcome the public to its event. Following the huge success of last year, organisers were again impressed by the sheer numbers of visitors who braved inclement weather to make the most of the occasion.
Over 850 people visited the school's North Mall campus, met slithering reptiles, handled ancient fossils, learned about carnivorous and alien plant speces and explored the treasures of the natural history museum.
Guided tours were also offered throughout the night of the BEES Geological Garden, the Horticulture Growing Area, the Glasshouses and other BEES highlights. BEES also took centre stage at the Glucksman Gallery where a number of zoological specimens were displayed as part of .
Well done to all concerned with what is rapidly becoming a fixture on the BEES calendar.
