Joint UCC-MTU Conferring 2022
The joint UCC-MTU conferring ceremony for the BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science class was held in UCC on Friday 14 October.
Professor Alan Kelly (Vice-Head, College of Science, Engineering and Food Science, UCC) introduced the graduand鈥檚 and Professor Maggie Cusack, President, MTU and Professor John O鈥橦alloran, President, UCC jointly presented the parchments to the students, congratulated the graduate鈥檚, praised collaborative programmes and acknowledged the contribution of family, friends and staff in the graduate鈥檚 achievements.
The Biomedical Science Board of Studies members in attendance at the ceremony were Dr Lesley Cotter, Biological Sciences MTU (Deputy Director of BSc Biomedical Science programme), Dr Collette Hand, Pathology UCC, Dr Sin茅ad Kerins Biochemistry, UCC, Dr Brigid Lucey Head of Biological Sciences MTU, Dr John Morgan, Microbiology UCC, Dr Brendan O鈥機onnell, Head of School of Science & Informatics MTU, Dr Fiona O鈥橦alloran, Biological Sciences MTU and Dr Paul Young, Biochemistry UCC (Director of BSc Biomedical Science programme).
