Publication of the Year in the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology
The School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) met on Monday, 19 April to select the third awardee of the Professor Tom Cotter Medal for the 2020 Publication of the Year from a postgraduate research student in the School. Three entries were submitted, with full citations shown below.
After careful consideration and discussion, the GSC has awarded with the 2020 Publication of the Year. A figure from the Science Signaling publication was featured on the , and the paper was the subject of a focus article in the journal entitled: 鈥淭he tale of a tail: The secret behind IGF-1R鈥檚 oncogenic power鈥 (Crudden and Girnita, 2020).
Leonie鈥檚 paper will now go forward for recognition in the College of SEFS Publication of the Year awards.
The committee would like to commend and for their research contributions and their excellent first-author publications.
