Conference Poster Prize for Paul Buckley

Congratulations to PhD student Paul Buckley, who was awarded a best poster prize at the European Aerosol Conference held in Zurich, 27^th August – 1^st September 2017.

This event is Europe’s largest aerosol conference, attended by over 800 scientists from around the world. Paul’s presented the latest results from his research on the sources and properties of atmospheric black carbon particles, which have a large impact on air quality and climate. The research is funded by a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship (Irish Research Council/EPA). Paul is based in the Centre for Research into Atmospheric Chemistry and works in both the and the Environmental Research Institute.
