Congratulations to our postgraduate students that presented at the 72nd Irish Chemistry Research Colloquium, and in particular to the following prize winners.

Colm O’Dwyer, Professor in the School of Chemistry at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork, has been elected 3rd Vice-President president of The Electrochemical Society (ECS) by its 8,000 members for a term beginning June 10, 2021.

The School of Chemistry is delighted to announce the recipients of our annual undergraduate prizes in Chemistry, awarded to students for their excellent academic performances.

Dr. Stuart Collins, Dr. Trevor Carey and Niamh O'Mahoney from the School of Chemistry have been honoured in the SEFS Student Nominated Staff Awards for 2020.

Dr. Dave Otway and Dr. Dean Venables are recipients of Teaching Hero awards.

UCC wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the role of Professor of Sustainable Chemistry within the School of Chemistry and the Environmental Research Institute.

The graduation ceremony took place online, due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
