COMET2023 Conference Fees

The conference fee includes:

• Access to all conference sessions
• Conference materials, including programme and abstracts
• Morning and afternoon tea/coffee and lunch on the three days of the conference
• Welcome Reception on 20 June

Members of the COMET society are entitled to a discounted registration fee with proof of membership (If you wish to renew your membership or become a COMET member, please go to: . However, COMET membership is not required for conference registration).

Students may register at the reduced student rate with proof of student status (copy of student ID or similar).

Early registration up to 7^th May, 2023:

Standard Delegate:                       €290

COMET Member:                          €270      (with proof of membership)

Student:                                          €145      (with proof of student status)

Student COMET Member:           €135      (with proof of student status and COMET membership)

Single Day:                                      €150

Single Day COMET Member:       €140      (with proof of membership)

Pre-COMET Masterclass (19^th June, 2023):

The Pre-COMET Masterclass is open to Conference Delegates as well as other interested persons. It will be conducted by Srikant Sarangi. The participation fee includes lunch and morning and afternoon tea / coffee.

Conference Dinner:

The COMET conference dinner will be hosted at the River Lee hotel, and will be accompanied by the Traditional Irish Music Group Uillean Ceoil. Before the dinner, there is the opportunity to attend a special viewing of the exhibition “Catching Stories of Infectious Diseases in Ireland” at the Boole Library on UCC’s main campus.

Cancellation policy for conference, Masterclass and dinner registration:

You may cancel your registration(s) and receive a refund, subject to a 20% deduction, if you notify us by 5 June, 2023.

Please note that after 5 June, 2023, no refunds are possible.
