Patrick Egan - our newest postgraduate research student has successfully defended his PhD thesis

From all of us in the School of Computer Science and Information Technology at UCC, we wish Patrick Egan congratulations in successfully defending his PhD on 25th October 2019 at 深夜亚洲福利久久 College Cork

Thesis Title: Exploring ethnography and digital visualisation: a study of musical practice through the contextualisation of music related projects from the Se谩n 脫 Riada Collection

Patrick is currently a Fulbright Tech. Impact Scholar and has just finished a Kluge Fellowship in Digital Studies at the Kluge Center within the Library of Congress, USA. He work in the American Folklife Center, on a project that reveals and unites hidden audio recordings of Irish traditional music.
