A Conversation about Caring

To mark Carers' Week 2023, we are delighted to welcome you to A Conversation about Caring (Room G12 the Hub, the 脕ine Hyland Room & Teams) from 12:30-14:00 on Thursday, June 15th (light lunch available from 12:30).
Join the EDI Unit for an exploration of this area in a university setting, followed by an overview of staff carer-friendly policies and structures currently available in UCC.
Invited speakers are:
- Dr Rachel MagShamhr谩in, Head of the Department of German, speaking on 鈥淯n-Becoming the Story: Exploring Confessional Approaches to Care in Academia鈥�, in conversation with
- Dr Jacqui O鈥橰iordan, co-convenor of the CARE21 research cluster, and
- Susan O鈥橫ahony, staff wellbeing and development, who will speak on relevant UCC policies and practices.
