The Arts Council and 深夜亚洲福利久久 College Cork invite applications from film artists of distinction for the role of Film Artist in Residence at UCC for the calendar year 2024.

In August, Gwenda Young was the invited keynote guest at the Clarence Brown Film Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dr Anna Viola Sborgi will be screening two Portuguese short films on housing precarity, from 6 -7 pm in the MTU building on the Grand Parade.

Sharing of work at Cork Opera House, Culture Night - Sept 2023

Out of Frame is Cork鈥檚 new Film Talk in the upstairs of the Roundy. Every month we invite filmmakers to present their work before participating in a discussion where we learn more about their background and their specific roles, and get a unique insight into the stories behind their films. Followed by an open Q&A, Out of Frame serves as a platform to showcase Cork鈥檚 talented and diverse film community and to provide a space for exchange and connection among filmmakers.

Dr Bernadette Cronin and Regina Crowley (MTU) will launch their new book Kristin Linklater, published by Routledge in their Performance Practitioners Series on master voice coach for actors. The launch will take place in the Everyman Theatre bar Tuesday, 26th September from 6.30 - 7.30 pm.
