鈥渁n unnecessary stain on silence鈥�
Founded in 2024, 别苍迟谤鈥檃肠迟别 comprises four of Cork city's most exciting artists: John Godfrey (musician, UCC Department of Music, Quiet Music Ensemble, Icebreaker, Crash Ensemble), Irene Murphy (Sound Artist, Strange Attractor, Domestic Godless, Cork Artists Collective, The Guesthouse), Mick O鈥� Shea (Sound Artist, Quiet Club, Strange Attractor, Domestic Godless, The Guesthouse) and Karen Power (composer/sound artist, creative field recordist, DAAD award winner, Natural Creators).
Each artist is individually renowned in their fields both in Ireland and abroad and is also a highly active member of Cork city鈥檚 remarkable improvisation scene. Using unique self-built instruments and with decades of experience behind them, the performers of 别苍迟谤鈥檃肠迟别 together produce music of surpassing beauty and finesse.
