We're pleased to announce that Dr Matt Ryan (BSc Government 2008) 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Southampton will join us on the day to present research from his latest monograph.

Title: Why Citizen Participation Succeeds or Fails: Participatory Budgeting and the Future of Democratic Innovation

Presenter biography:  

Dr Matt Ryan is Associate Professor in Governance and Public Policy at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Southampton. He is Co-Director of the , Policy Director at the , and a Turing Fellow. His research focuses on democratic innovation, participation in policymaking, and improving social research methods. He is Principal Investigator of the  project and chairs the central research team for the  project. His monograph Why Citizen Participation Succeeds or Fails was published by Bristol 深夜亚洲福利久久 Press in 2021.
