Orientation information
Orientation at UCC will introduce you to the academic, practical, social, and general aspects of campus life.
You will learn about the support services available to all students, take an in鈥慸epth tour of the campus, meet your academic staff, and receive important information about what will be required in your Programme of study. You will also hear about the many Clubs and Societies active on campus and have the chance to get to know your fellow classmates during social events organised by the .

Welcome Programme
Our Welcome Programme, hosted by the International Office, helps new international students settle into life at UCC and in Cork. It鈥檚 designed to make your first days here easier, more enjoyable, and full of opportunities to connect with others.
You鈥檒l be able to take part in campus tours, explore Cork city on foot, join day trips, shop in our Swap Shop, and experience Irish culture through a variety of events. It鈥檚 a great way to make friends, both local and international, and start feeling at home.
Most activities are free, though some events, such as bus trips, have limited spaces and can book out quickly.
Further information will be shared with you before your arrival at UCC.
