Leonardo Sciascia: vent’anni dopo
To mark the twentieth anniversary of the death of Leonardo Sciascia, the Department of Italian, ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork is hosting an international interdisciplinary conference dedicated to Sciascia’s works and legacy. The conference brings together international scholars of Sciascia, twentieth-century narrative and Film Studies in order to open new directions in the study of Sciascia’s texts

- Sciascia’s legacy in contemporary Italian and European narrative
- key developments in studies on Sciascia;

- Sciascia and the postmodern historical novel;
- Sciascia and impegno;
- Sciascia and Sicily;
- Sciascia as public intellectual;
- Sciascia and the twenty-first century.
