"Passing the Torch" an exhibition of paintings by UCC Medical Graduate of 1939, Dr Madoline O鈥� Connell
Concurrent with the 鈥楨xperience of Illness鈥� exhibition at UCC鈥檚 Glucksman Gallery and in association with and UCC Medical Alumni Association, the Jennings Gallery opening of 鈥楶assing the Torch 鈥� an exhibition of paintings by UCC Medical Graduate of 1939, Dr Madoline O鈥� Connell, took place on November 29th 2012.
The extraordinary Madoline O鈥� Connell focuses on Art, Observation and her interaction with Alexander Fleming whose discovery of Penicillin revolutionized the world鈥檚 perception of bacteria and illness.
The exhibition will run from 29th November 2012 to 10th January 2013 inclusive. Curated by UCC students 脕ine McLaughlin and Amber Shrestha.
