Rishi Popuri recipient of the Fielding Medal for Final Year Project
Congratulations are extended to Rishi Popuri, UCC medical student, on being awarded the Fielding Medal by the Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists.
Rishi Popuri, UCC medical student, presented their final year project "Development of an Augmented Reality Program for Nerve Root Block Procedures in Interventional Radiology" at the Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists Annual Scientific Meeting held on the 25th and 26th of Sept 2025.
The authors of the research are Rishi Sai Popuri, Samin Abrar, Damon Andrews, Sarah Ni Chathasaig, Darragh Herlihy, Noel Fanning, Leonie Heskin, Michael Maher and David John Ryan.
Rishi also presented their research at the CIRSE Annual Meeting 2025 in Barcelona.
