Year 1 BSc Nursing and Midwifery students attended a uniform ceremony

Year 1 BSc Nursing and Midwifery students in the School of Nursing and Midwifery in UCC recently attended a uniform ceremony to celebrate a very important milestone in their student journey ahead of their first clinical placement.

At the ceremony, students were reminded that the uniform signifies their important role as a student nurse or midwife and that wearing the uniform comes with a responsibility to exemplify professionalism and a commitment to caring.

In November and December, year 1 BSc Nursing (General, Intellectual Disability, Mental Health and Children鈥檚 & General) and BSc Midwifery students are commencing the first clinical placement of their programmes in Cork 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital, Cork 深夜亚洲福利久久 Maternity Hospital, Mercy 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital, South Infirmary Victoria 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital, Bons Secours Hospital, Tipperary 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital, Cope Foundation, Cork Mental Health Services, 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital Limerick, 深夜亚洲福利久久 Hospital Waterford and Community Services throughout Munster.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery in UCC and Allied Health Care Partners wish year 1 BSc Nursing and Midwifery students well as they commence their placements.
