UCC welcomes Minister Helen McEntee to campus
Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Helen McEntee T.D., visited ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork on Friday, 24 April, for a student dialogue on Ireland’s 2026 EU Presidency.
During her visit, Minister McEntee met with Professor John O’Halloran in the President’s Office, where she signed the Visitors’ Book and was presented with a commemorative gift.
She later participated in a thoughtful and engaging dialogue with students on Ireland’s upcoming EU Presidency and some of the most pressing issues facing Ireland and the EU, including security, economics, climate action and Artificial Intelligence. The discussion provided students with an opportunity to share their insights, questions, and perspectives as the country prepares to take on the role.
