Quercus Scholars at the Fleadh '22
Plenty of Quercus Scholars and alum took part at the Fleadh '22 in Mulligar.
Iona Ritchie, Quercus Creative & Performing Arts' Scholar and Music student, came in second in the Senior Melodeon. Iona also competed with her Gr煤pa Ceoil in the Senior Groups Competition.
Donnchadh Hughes, Quercus Creative & Performing Arts Scholar and Music student, was in both the Harp and Flute Dance Tunes and Slow Airs Competitions and he came away with the win in the Senior Slow Airs Competition.
Quercus alum, Hannah Collins & Conor Arkins, were also in the Senior winning C茅il铆 Band, Taobh na Mara. It really was a successful Fleadh for Quercus scholars and we hope, above all, you enjoyed the crack and spending time with your fellow traditional musicians again!!!
