Welcome to the Deputy President & Registrar's Office at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork. This office is charged with delivering UCC's core academic mission - to deliver an outstanding, student-centred teaching and learning experience with a renewed and responsive connected curriculum at its core.

Healthy UCC launches the Sun Smart Initiative across the campus!

Healthy UCC has launched the pilot Sun Smart Initiative, with suncream dispenser boards installed in five locations across campus: The Hub, the Mardyke Pavillion, Western Gateway Building, North Mall Enterprise Centre and the Student Centre. With skin cancer the most common type of cancer in Ireland today, the initiative ensures that suncream is available on campus for students, staff and the wider community to use when needed. The Initiative is a collaboration between the HSE and UCC.

UCC success at the Education Awards

The 2026 Education Awards, which recognise and celebrate excellence in the third-level education sector, took place recently. Of the over 60 finalists in 27 categories, ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC) was represented by six and was delighted to win three awards in the Apprenticeships, Innovative Access to Higher Education, and Master's Programme categories.

id+ futures Business Partner Showcase

The 10th December was the International Day of Human Rights and the id+ futures team marked the day with an inspiring and energising  Business Partner Showcase in the iconic Aula Maxima in ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork. Article 27 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is the right to work and id+ futures initiative takes a rights-based approach to education and work.

UCC celebrates first Silver institutional Athena Swan Award

Four prestigious awards were presented to UCC awardees at the national Athena Swan Awards Ceremony, held at South East Technological ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã (SETU) Carlow on 12 November 2025.   UCC celebrated its first Silver institutional Athena Swan Award, along with three School awards – a first Silver for the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, a first Bronze for the School of Applied Social Studies, and a renewed Bronze for the Dental School and Hospital. Together, these awards mark a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing commitment to gender equality and inclusion.
