Access UCC launches first Ambassador and Advisory Group

Access UCC launched its first student Ambassador and Advisory Group on Monday. The shared goal is to ensure that students and Access UCC staff work to make UCC more accessible for all. The 32 students will have opportunities to represent Access UCC at events throughout the year and give vital input on core topics.

Their experience and understanding of different services within Access UCC ensure they are uniquely placed to help put the student voice at the centre of how we support our students. Their presence, voice and contribution will allow Access UCC to serve students better. They will become an integral part of Access UCC, where they will inform and influence decision-making.

Olive Byrne, Head of Access UCC, met with the new Ambassador and Advisory Group in The Shtepps for their first training session. The Skills Centre and the UCCSU also gave insightful sessions throughout the day.
