Paul O'Donovan Graduates
The sun was shining for the Medicine & Health graduation ceremonies in UCC on Friday 26th May, and it particularly shone on our golden boy, Paul O'Donovan - or should we now say Dr. O'Donovan!
Paul received his Quercus Sports' Scholarship in 2018 and he has been studying GEM in the university since then. His hard work and dedication to reach Olympic gold, while retaining first class honours results, has inspired us all throughout those years and we cannot believe how fast they have flown.
Paul was joined on his graduation day by him parents, grandmother, and brother and fellow rower, Gary.
Paul will now turn his attentions to qualifying for the Paris '24 Olympics and towards a career in Orthopaedic surgery.
Best of luck for the future Paul, in everything that you do!
