Máiréad Dunne is a Professor of Sociology of Education at the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã of Sussex and former Director of its ‘Centre for International Education’ Her research employs critical (feminist, postcolonial, intersectional) approaches to study how education and society shape identities - gender, class, race, ethnicity, religion, nation, age - and how these factors influence inequality, development, and social reproduction globally

The UCCRSA is delighted to share with you that the Global Virus Network, in partnership with the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã of South Florida, presents a webinar series featuring expert virologists from GVN Centers of Excellence. This session features Dr. Sten Vermund, an internationally recognized pediatrician and infectious disease epidemiologist. He will discuss "Discovery To Practice Translation: Public Health Implementation of Viral Discovery." The webinar includes a 30-40 minute presentation followed by a 20-minute Q&A.
