You probably know of Barcelona Football Club, but perhaps less known are the Catalan rugby teams Barcelona Dragons and Perpignan’s USAP.

All of these examples of Catalan culture would be more enjoyable if you knew a bit of the unique language of this region.

The Catalan Beginners I (A1.1) course (Autumn) will provide you with the knowledge you need to speak and understand basic Catalan. We also offer a Catalan Beginners II (A1.2) course (Spring) to further develop your Catalan skills.

Our close collaboration with the allows our students the possibility to sit the official Catalan language exams at UCC.
