🔵 Women’s 1sts – Munster Senior Cup Semi-Final

UCC 4 – 0 Crescent

The weekend opened with a semi-final cup fixture as the W1sts took on Crescent in the Munster Senior Cup semi-final. Crescent proved their usual tough selves, keeping the score to 1–0 heading into the final quarter. UCC had dominated much of the play, but Crescent’s disciplined defence kept them in touch.

The final quarter saw UCC finally break through, scoring three excellent goals to seal the win.

UCC now march on to the Munster Senior Cup Final on 17th March, where they’ll face arch rivals Cork Harlequins.

🔵 Women’s 3B – Division 3

Cork Harlequins 1 – 1 UCC 3B

A crucial match for 3B in their fight to avoid relegation. They battled hard and secured a valuable point.

🌟 POTM – Georgia Billinghurst

Georgia delivered a fantastic performance, highlighted by a superb run down the right wing before finishing the move herself with a brilliant goal.

The team has three games left, including a huge relegation battle next weekend against C of I, who are also fighting for survival.

🔵 Women’s Div 7

Crescent 5 – 0 UCC

The Div 7 team travelled to Crescent and faced a difficult day out. Some questionable umpiring decisions didn’t help their cause, and they struggled to find rhythm, eventually falling to a deflating 5–0 loss.

🔵 Women’s Div 3A – League Title Decider

UCC 3A 3 – 0 C of I

Sunday delivered the match of the weekend.

With a win, UCC 3A would secure the league title outright. C of I had strengthened their squad in an effort to stay up, but UCC rose to the occasion and produced arguably their performance of the season.

🏆 Headline of the Weekend

With Div 1, Div 2, and now Div 3A all securing league titles, it has been an exceptional season across the board for the club.

Even more impressively, all three title‑winning teams remain alive in their respective cup competitions, joined by the Division 7 side who are also still competing.

The men continue their strong campaign with places in both the McClean Cup and the Munster Junior Cup, while the Div 3A women have reached the Combined 3/4 Cup Final. The Div 2 Women are still firmly in the hunt for the Examiner Cup, keeping the club’s hopes of multiple trophies very much alive as the season enters its final stretch.

🔵 Men’s Division 1

Midleton 3 – 4 UCC Men

The men travelled to Midleton for a tight league match. In a nail‑biting finish, UCC scored a last‑minute winner to take all three points.

🔵 Women’s Div 2

Cork Harlequins 3 – 3 UCC

The Div 2 team, unbeaten all season and usually dominant, were held to a hard‑fought 3–3 draw. A strong Harlequins side ensured UCC had to work for every inch.

Despite the draw, the squad remain in excellent form and already have their league title secured.
