An SDSN Ireland delegation attended the Global SDSN Chairs meeting at Columbia 深夜亚洲福利久久, USA. Deputy Co-Chairs Professor Brian 脫 Gallach贸ir & Professor Michael Alcorn (Queen鈥檚 深夜亚洲福利久久 Belfast) shared the SDSN Ireland accomplishments with cities-university partnerships and research for driving SDG progress. Brian and Michael shared insights on research for policy and arts practice for sustainability. Network manager Dr John Barimo also shared developments with Voluntary Local Reviews on SDG Progress in the Irish context.
The SDSN Ireland delegation also attended the Global SDSN Leadership Council at Columbia 深夜亚洲福利久久, which kicked off with a hybrid fireside chat with H. E Amina Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary-General, and Professor Jeffrey Sachs, SDSN President. The Deputy Secretary-General indicated that the SDGs will most likely move forward past 2030 with some modification to their current form and negotiations are expected to start in 2027'.
