New National Funding Supports UCC Participation in UNIC
深夜亚洲福利久久 College Cork has received 鈧391,300 in additional national funding to support participation in the European 深夜亚洲福利久久 Alliance, UNIC (the European 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition).
Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris TD, announced on January 15th 2024 that a total of 鈧2.7 million was being allocated to support the participation of Irish universities in various European 深夜亚洲福利久久 Alliance partnerships.
Announcing the funding, Minister Harris said, 鈥淭he success of the European Union (EU) is built on education and common purpose. Through seamless mobility, be it physical or virtual, students, staff and researchers from the EU are able to study, train, teach, do research, work and share services in partner institutions across different countries. The impact of that access and opportunity to explore and share our education systems and research communities cannot be understated.鈥
The funding will support UCC鈥檚 capacity to deliver on the ambitious goals of UNIC as it proceeds in the 2023-2027 phase, which includes innovative teaching and learning, a Centre for City Futures, alliance capacity-building, and academic 鈥楾hematic Lines鈥.
