Irish Association for Asian Studies (IAAS)
The aim of the Irish Association for Asian Studies is to promote Asian Studies in Ireland, and to advance education through the critical and analytical study of Asia and Asia-related topics by providing a forum for scholarly activity. It also seeks to foster a variety of academic activities, such as conferences, seminars, workshops and publications.
It will also provide a space to bring together scholars who engage with all aspects of academic research on Asia from pre-modern times until the present day.
The Irish Journal of Asian Studies (IJAS) was launched in 2015 and is Ireland鈥檚 first ever international peer-reviewed online journal devoted to Asian Studies set up by the Department of Asian Studies at , Ireland.
