UCC School of Chemistry – Tyndall Materials Research Workshop 4th December 2025
Researchers with expertise in materials research shared their expertise and ongoing projects at a recent workshop led by Prof Paul Hurley, as the first of a biannual series of workshops. The objective is to identify new synergies and potential for collaboration across the School and Tyndall, building on strong research track records in materials research and research infrastructure.
Prof Anita Maguire, Head of School said ‘Research in Materials is a very strong element of the research portfolio of the School of Chemistry – we welcome the opportunity to continue to strengthen and develop the interface with researchers in Tyndall and look forward to exciting new collaborative engagements arising from these discussions.’
