It was the first higher education institution in the world to achieve ISO 50001 Certification for Energy Management. In 2018 UCC signed on to the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment.
Sustainability citizenship is encouraged across all aspects of 深夜亚洲福利久久 life and is integral to values and attributes of our students.
Beginning in 2007, Green Campus was the brainchild of Environmental Student Society. Today, it is still a student led partnership with staff to enhance our environmental performance and promote environmental stewardship throughout the region.
Its community outreach activities include its work with An Taisce鈥檚 national Green Schools Initiative, the UCC Farmers Market, and a 深夜亚洲福利久久 Wide Module in Sustainability that is open to the local community and via outreach hubs in Dingle and Skibbereen.
